He was born on the 12th of February 2019. The breeder who happens to be a family friend of ours and owner of Woody's mum (Heidrazer Oriana) did allow us early access to see the puppies so we had an early pick. Both Woody's parents are Red Fox Labradors and all the puppies were identical, apart from Woody who was twice the size from the rest! The breeder did warn us that he will become a big dog and he was proven right. Apparently, Woody is a distant brother of the Red Fox Labrador currently living at 10 Downing Street!

Woody currently weights 39kg and he has been the same kilos all his adult life. His diet is pretty consistent and we are really looking after his treats. Woody spends at least 2 hours a day outdoors. He loves water, woodlands and ball games. At home he is an angel, he has never damaged a single thing and never eaten anything without our permission. He is extremely discipline but can also act like a "big puppy" sometimes and considering his weight this is not always fun. It is worth mentioning that he is also extremely dominant when it comes to being around with other intact males. He is definitely an Alpha male when it comes to new male friendships. But he has never been aggressive or over the top. He already has a few intact male walking buddies.

Woody takes his parasite and worming tablets on a regular basis and he is having regular health checks not because he gets sick but because we travel a lot and he is joining every road trip. Woody never had a major accident (touch wood) and he is always travelling on crates when we drive or fly. Woody has never spent a night or day away from us (in a kennel or with another dog-keeper).

- "All clear" from his BVA eye tests (done in May 2022).

- "All clear" from his DNA tests (263 tests, done in Oct 2023, using Wisdom Panel).

- BVA Hips score 2/1 and Elbows score 0/0 (done in Jun 2023)

Woody is obviously microchipped and has a five generation pedigree record. All the paperwork can be shown upon request.
